I have neglected the blog quite a bit, as I have found it much easier to post to Facebook. I know it's not as pretty, but I get more feedback/comments, and even people who do not have Facebook accounts can view my page. I will be working on a new blog this summer (or at least that is the plan), but until that is done, I will post my new work to my Facebook business page. The D Family

I had a fun time taking pictures of this family this past weekend. The little girl is at the perfect age where she takes direction, but still is herself in front of the camera... AND SO CUTE! The little guy wasn't feeling too well (teething), but we still got some really adorable shots of him. What a sweetie.

Newborn - Little C

The last day of 2010

It was 56 degrees! I dragged my kids to an old barn and they were so happy to be outside without snow gear on, they were actually somewhat cooperative. :)

Sweet little B

I took pictures of this pretty girl a couple weeks before Christmas. We had a difficult time getting her to sleep, but managed to get some beautiful shots when she snoozed for a bit. She was so tiny... love the shot of her big brother holding her hand while resting his foot on the dog's head. :)

The J Family

The J family has two boys and two girls, just like my family growing up. :) The kids were wonderful! I found one "outtake" that I love, more so than the original idea for the picture. This little guy was too funny, and his brother and sisters kept encouraging him to cooperate. I love how kids work together.

We were finally able to finish up her senior session! I also experienced my first injury while taking pictures (I do NOT recommend standing in wheelbarrows to get better angles for portraits!). :)

The S Family, Part 2

These photos are long overdue. Their first session was cut short due to a storm, then we had a reschedule one or two more times to get the rest of their pics done. It was totally worth it though. It also illustrates what proper weather and lighting can do for your pictures! I had a hard time picking my favorites from this session!

Miss A - Senior Portraits

Miss A was a trooper in the heat and humidity earlier tonight. The weather was conspiring against us, but we managed to get some great shots. We will meet again to do more pictures soon, hoping for better conditions. She is just gorgeous!

Three Generations

I had a lot of fun taking these pictures the other day of Ms. K, her daughters, and her grandsons. The little boys had a lot of cheesy smiles for me, so we had to make them laugh to get more genuine smiles. So cute. :)

I have to tell you that Halloween wasn't great for us this year, but I still wanted to post the kids in their costumes. They were both sick, so we had to cancel our plans and take it easy at home. What do you think? Angriest ladybug... ever? ;) I also have to share my husband's pumpkin because I loved it.
